Deadpool star Reynolds and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia actor McElhenney shared their vision for the club with fans on Sunday last week.

“This is the third oldest club in the world, and we can not understand that it should not have an international appeal,” said Reynolds, according to BBC Wales.

More than 2,000 members were eligible to vote. 75 percent of those members had to be positive about The RR McReynolds Company being able to take over the club.

Voting started last Monday until Sunday 15 November. On Monday afternoon, it was announced that the new owners are Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

The Hollywood stars will spit at least two million pounds into the club, which has been owned by fans since 2011.

According to the American financial website Bloomberg, Reynods and McElhenney will make a kind of Netfix documentary to increase the income of the Welsh club, and it may be more profitable for Wrexham than for clubs such as Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Leeds United and Sunderland.

After it became clear that the actors were allowed to buy the club, they posted a video on the club’s Twitter account (see above).

Rob McElhenney starts the video by talking about Ifor Williams Trailers, why?

English, National League. Hartlepool are in eighth place, with as many points as Eastleigh who hold the last playoff spot at the moment.

The club, which was previously owned by the oil millionaire Berge Gerdt Larsen from Bergen, was relegated from League Two after the 2016-2017 season. They finished in the middle of the table last season, but this season they have had a great start. They stood with three wins and two draws in the first five league games, but in the previous round of the series came the bang. Then Hartlepool lost 0-5 against league leader Torquay. It’s been three weeks.

The team from the port city in the North East of England is now without a win in the last three matches. Just over a week ago, they were eliminated from the FA Cup against Salford.

Pools do without defender Gary Liddle and midfielder Luke Williams, who only played 17 minutes against Eastleigh on Saturday.

Wrexham survived the National League with a cry of distress last season. The Welsh ended up in 20th place, just four points above AFC Fylde who relegated.

The whole team in the corona quarantine

Before Tuesday’s matches, the Welsh are in 16th place, and they have only won two of the first six matches. The Wrexham team has been in quarantine after a Welsh player tested positive for the coronavirus after the 0-0 match against Barnet on 27 October.

It is over a month since some of the teams took three points in the league, but Wrexham do not have good memories from the last games at Victoria Park. They have lost the last two matches there.

Wrexham are without a win in the last four games, and three of them have been lost. It is difficult to find arguments for an away win at Victoria Park. But Wrexham got new owners on Monday, and that can give an extra boost to the away team. We think guests can get points. Two of Hartepool’s home games have ended in a draw, and we believe in a new points division here. The odds on U are 3.15. It’s playable.
