Oculus Quest gets update that allows tracking of hands – Gaming – News

Here also an Oculus Quest owner. The “trick” is to have several simple games. For example, I use The thrill of the fight (boxing) as a workout (that is really going to take some time), beat saber for a few games and I don’t really play Superhot anymore.
What opens up a new world is when you install SideQuest on a computer and from SideQuest (where makers sometimes place their games first as apha or beta and regularly also very good games) for free or for very little money. So now I play quite a lot of Crisis VRigade. Bend over, dive away, reload weapon, etc. I also sometimes start Drunk’n bar fight to hit a bit (with things) on virtual characters and so on. I regularly enjoy the games for an hour or more. Especially because they are being further developed and the last two now also have multiplayer options.

That said, I use the Oculus Quest most hours by watching 3D movies via Skybox (a simple media player that I like) on a ‘big cinema screen’. I just lie on the bed, find a comfortable position, move the screen slightly in the air, so that I can lie in bed and then watch a 3D movie super relaxed.

Things like that have never made me consider leaving my Quest. Not at all because the Quest is mobile and I have already taken it several times to friends (and their children) where it is invariably a success and fun for everyone who puts it on. It is also fun for the other people, because you can cast the image to TV or telephone and the rest can watch who is playing.

Ah, one last addition before I finish my story: I suffer from motion sickness fairly quickly, but this does not bother me at all with the VR glasses, because it follows movements perfectly and very quickly ensures that you are really in it.

In short: I really like the Quest!
