Oculus could use Apple’s health app

Facebook could add a synchronization function with the Apple Health app to its Oculus headsets. Developer Steve Moser has discovered in the code of the Oculus app, the code necessary for this transfer of information.

More precisely, it would be a matter of synchronizing the data recovered using Oculus Move. Appeared last September, this system option calculates your calorie expenditure as well as your physical activity each time you use a virtual reality app with the headset. There is no guarantee that Oculus will go so far as to activate compatibility with Health, but there would be logic in doing so for customers on iPhone.

The addition of health-oriented sensors on future AirPods returns from time to time in the rumors (read also PowerBuds Pro: health functions in the new headphones from Amazfit) as in those relating to the augmented reality headset that Apple would prepare.
