October Game Pass Additions: Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Leads Exciting New Releases

We’re halfway through a new month, and with that Microsoft has confirmed new games for Game Pass. The service will be expanded with some new and some old in the coming weeks, with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 in the driver’s seat.

However, it starts with a bang in South Park: The Fractured Bu Whole, which arrives on October 16 for PC, console and through the cloud.

On October 17, subscribers will be able to revisit Donut County on all platforms. Also arriving at the same time is MechWarrior 5: Clans, available from the game’s launch day for PC, Xbox Series X/S and Cloud.

Then the Call of Duty floodgates will open on October 25th. The new Black Ops 6 is being released on PC, Xbox and Cloud – and those playing through the cloud can also take on Modern Warfare III and Warzone.

On October 29, Ashen awaits on all Game Pass platforms, while Dead Island 2 comes to PC Game Pass on October 31.

Next month, specifically November 5th, there will be a dose of StarCraft. Both StarCraft Remastered and StarCraft II: Campaign Collection then make their entrances on PC.

Otherwise, a bundled game will be removed from the service as usual. On October 31st, the following titles will be removed from Game Pass:

  • Frog Detective: The Complete Mystery (PC, Xbox and Cloud)
  • Headbangers (PC, Xbox and Cloud)
  • Inculinati (PC, Xbox and Cloud)
  • Lonely Mountain’s Downhill (PC, Xbox and Cloud)
  • Mineko Night Market (PC, Xbox and Cloud)
