The Russian navy has played a key role during President Vladimir Putin’s war of aggression against Ukraine. The naval vessels control large parts of the Black Sea and cruise missiles are late targeting Ukrainian targets from both surface vessels and submarines.
During the exercise, the navy will practice the protection of ships at sea, the defense of the coast and the transport of personnel and equipment. All in all, more than 200 combat situations are planned, including the use of weapons, the statement from Moscow said.
