The members of the staff delegation to the CSE, and the referent in the fight against sexual harassment and sexist acts designated among the members of the CSE, benefit from the training necessary for the exercise of their missions in terms of health, safety and working conditions. The duration of this training as well as its financing are subject to change on March 31, 2022.

The health law has come to regulate the training in health and safety at work for staff representatives.

Since March 31, 2022, this training is now for a minimum of 5 days during the first mandate.
In the event of renewal of this mandate, the training is of a minimum duration:
- 3 days for each member of the staff delegation, regardless of the size of the company;
- 5 days for members of the health, safety and working conditions commission in companies with at least 300 employees.

Occupational health and safety training is funded by the employer.
Since March 31, 2022, the financing of this training for elected officials and the sexual harassment referent can be covered by the OPCO in companies with fewer than 50 employees.
A decree has come to list the expenses that OPCOs can cover:
- educational costs;
- the remuneration and legal and conventional social charges of employees in training, within the limit of the hourly cost of the minimum wage per hour of training;
- ancillary transport, catering and accommodation costs relating to the training followed and, when the training takes place wholly or partly outside working hours, the costs of childcare or dependent parents.
