– Obviously annoying – VG

Jonas Lihaug, Sander Dale, Christopher Robin Omdal and Arman Surizehi in the eighth episode of “Traitor”.

– It was actually the most liberating, because it was so good to finally be able to say what had always happened, says the enthusiastic participant. NB! Spoiler alert.

Another participant was eliminated in the council chamber in the Friday episode of the TV 2 program “Traitore – tra noi”.

– I had no control over who would vote for whom when we entered the council chamber, and so this time I was left out, says Jonas Lihaug (33), known as a YouTuber and presenter.

– It’s actually the first time I haven’t been in total control, and that’s how it went.

But Lihaug describes the experience as “liberating,” because it could later reveal who she really was in the game.

– It was insanely nice to tell them I was a bad boy, laughs Lihaug.

After Jørn Lier Horst (52) has resigned in episode six of the show, Cathrine Fossum (44) and Jonas Lihaug were left alone as traitors.

Then the two traitors decided to induce a loyalist to go to the dark side. But to their surprise, clearly thanked Sander “Randulle” Dale in the.

– It was extremely disappointing, says Lihaug, who was a good friend of Dale in the past.

– Actually, it still is. Because she should have said yes! We asked her because we thought that now she had to start understanding the drawing. We got the impression that he realized that it was the two of us – whom he trusted so much – who were traitors. It is also very annoying that he is as extremely pure in soul as he appears.

But not in this episode Dale voted for a traitor. However, it was Lihaug who received the most votes from the loyalists and he had to go home.

At the same time, he did something surprising: he voted for his cheating colleague Cathrine Fossum.

– Why did you do that?

– I thought it was mainly Cathrine and I who got the most and the same number of votes, so we should vote again. So Cathrine would have been forced to change her vote, and therefore have a perfect alibi for the future, both because I voted for her and she voted for me.

– But didn’t it go like that?

– No, if I had been in control, as previously mentioned, I would have known that more people would have voted for Karina (ed. Hollekim), and therefore obviously I would have voted for her. That way, I probably could have been there at least one more day, but it was still a good alibi for Cathrine, as I voted for her.

And now that there is only one traitor left, Cathrine Fossum has no choice: she must force one of the loyalists to join her team. Lihaug thinks he will be fine.

– I assume she will make it for a while, says Lihaug, and points out once again that he has given her a solid alibi.

For Lihaug it was above all a relief to finally be able to tell the truth, and he is not embittered, they say to himself anyway.

– No, I couldn’t feel bitterness, because it was so good to finally be honest. I’m actually really bad at surprise parties, secrets and things like that. Obviously it was annoying to get that far and no further. But no bitterness. It was a lot of fun and rewarding and it would have been fun to win all the shit. But I also think it will hurt further now, that the odds and stakes are now being raised. So maybe I was the last traitor who was allowed to walk out with a smile, and in that case it’s adorable.
