I thought it was great… Played it three times too. First once on PC, later twice on Xbox including both DLCs to get all achievements. And thoroughly enjoyed it.

But I also have my doubts about this remaster. I also find it strange that there is nothing about gamepass in the trailer. It is a release from Microsoft itself, so I would expect it in gamepass, but they say nothing about it. Maybe they see it as a deluxe version with the DLC included and that’s why they don’t? (Edit: ah Microsoft is not the publisher so therefore no game pass…)

Well, I could upgrade for a tenner since I bought the DLC… But eh, as good as I thought the game was, I don’t think I’ll do that anyway. In any case, despite the parallels with Fallout, it is a lot more linear than those games and therefore much less replayable. Precisely because I liked the game so much, I also saw everything in the game. And I think that’s true for most people who bought the DLC.

So yes, even though I strongly disagree with your value judgment about the original game, that remaster does come across as very cheap.
