SUKABUMIUPDATE.com – For those of you who like observing astronomical phenomena, this weekend seems to be a good time to observe one of the amazing celestial phenomena.
The reason is, according to the Langit Selatan page, this weekend there will be a peak in the North Taurid meteor shower.
This astronomical phenomenon has actually been going on since October 13 and will end on December 2.

However, the peak of this meteor shower will take place on November 11-12 2023. The North Taurid meteor shower will appear to come from the constellation Taurus.
At peak night, the North Taurid Meteor Shower will see around five meteors per hour at a speed of 29 km/hour.
The Taurus constellation itself rises after sunset at 18:26 WIB and can be observed until dawn.

Meanwhile, the Moon is in the New Moon phase and will not have an impact on observing this meteor shower.
The combination of the North and South Taurid meteor showers which are still ongoing at the end of October and early November is an interesting attraction in the sky.
