JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – President Joko Widodo or Jokowi is said to have influence and power to win the presidential and vice presidential candidate pairs in the general election or 2024 election.

This was conveyed by political observer Arif Nurul Imam. Arif said Jokowi has great influence because of his authority and position, he still has authority.

“In the 2024 Presidential Election, Joko Widodo as President of course still has influence and power,” Arif said when contacted on Saturday (21/5/2022).

“This is because with the authority and position he still has the authority.”

In addition, said Arif, Jokowi also has sympathizers and a line of volunteers who are ready to support anyone following Jokowi’s directions.

Arif explained that there are a number of names of current presidential or presidential candidates that Jokowi has the potential to look at.

Meanwhile, other candidates, such as Puan Maharani, Airlangga Hartarto, and Sandiaga Uno, in real terms of their electability are only the vice presidential candidate class.
