Observation: Afghan school principal cleans the shoes of pedestrians in Kabul’s streets due to Taliban’s ban on girls’ education.

Al-Marsad Newspaper: The Afghan activist and journalist “Abdul-Haq Amiri” published a video clip on Twitter of a school principal working to wipe the shoes of passers-by on a sidewalk in the middle of a street in the capital, Kabul.

Activist Abdul Haq Amiri commented, saying: Now a high school principal works as a shoe cleaner in the streets of Kabul to earn a living for her family, and her mental state is not good, asking: Is this the government of Mullah Hibatullah?

While another activist tweeted, saying: The Taliban forces women to sit at home, and the question now arises: Is it better to be a teacher, or is it better to paint shoes on the road?

It is noteworthy that the Taliban prevented girls from pursuing their secondary studies since the return of the Taliban to rule Afghanistan last year.

The Taliban banned women from entering universities in Afghanistan, sparking international outrage and strong disappointment among the country’s youth.
