Petya Dubarova’s father passed away on New Year’s Eve. Stayko Dubarov died quietly in his home days before he turned 90. On January 9, he was going to celebrate his birthday.
He died after a stroke and a short bed rest. The funeral was today, the last time his closest ones sent him away, “Flagman” reported.
Citizens of Burgas who know him describe Stayko Dubarov as an extremely noble and calm man, a meek dreamer and romantic, and the inimitable Petya possessed his character and kindness. Shortly before he fell ill, Stayko Dubarov watched the film dedicated to his daughter and was happy that Petya was honored in this way.
In 2014, Petya’s mother, Maria Dubarova, passed away.
