After graduating with a degree in drama from Yale University, the 51-year-old Nigerian-born actor has worked on several television series: The West Wing, Star Trek: Voyager, Stargate SG-1 and The Jamie Foxx Show, according to the entertainment magazine People.
However, the character that earned him the most public recognition was “Bodie Wells” in the series Dawson’s Creek, in which he appeared from 1998 to 2002.

Mary-Margaret Humes, the actress who played Gale Leery, Dawson’s mother on the show, mourned the death of her friend. “I find it hard to fathom that you have left us, my dear friend. You always were and always will be a shining light. What an example of tenacity and pure, unfiltered love you set in the face of life’s recent challenges,” she said.
Ndefo was hit by a hit-and-run driver in August 2019, resulting in his legs being amputated. The actor was parked and loading groceries into his car when a pickup truck veered off the road and hit him.
