Oberneulander Sustainability Market invites you
On Saturday, August 31st, the square at Edeka Maaß in Oberneuland will be transformed into a meeting place for anyone interested in sustainability from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Organized by Derik Eicke, Oberneuland’s member of the city council and spokesman for the deputation for the environment, climate and agriculture, the “Oberneulander Sustainability Market” promises a diverse program.
Well-known institutions such as the climate protection agency for Bremen and Bremerhaven energiekonsens, the swb, the consumer protection center, the Bremer Aufbaubank as well as the BUND, the Bremen Garden Friends and the Bremen Beekeepers’ Association are also taking part. Local players such as Fahrrad Bartels and Hof Kaemena from Oberneuland with their wild meadow project are also presenting themselves with informative stands.
Also represented is Edeka Maaß, which has been recognized as a sustainable market and will provide information about its numerous measures. “I am pleased that so many players are taking part. We provide information on everything from your own insect-friendly garden design to specific environmental campaigns that you can support, to advice on bicycles, solar, heat pumps and climate support programs,” explains Derik Eicke.
In addition to the opportunity to obtain comprehensive information, the market also offers space for discussions and direct exchanges with experts. The SPD advisory group and Derik Eicke himself are available for discussions and look forward to lively interest from citizens. “Sustainability affects us all and only together can we create positive change,” stresses Eicke.
