Oberkotzau – The main house of Gut Haideck, which belongs to the market town of Oberkotzau, dates from the 18th century. There used to be a tree nursery on the property, now a family has the main building renovated and converted into a residential building. The project is supported by the German Foundation for Monument Protection (DSD). As the foundation announced on Friday, it is supporting the re-roofing of the roof with slate with 25,000 euros. The building is thus one of more than 440 objects that DSD has been able to promote in Bavaria alone thanks to private donations, the income from its trust foundations and the funds from the Glücksspirale lottery. The entire property, originally a four-wing manor complex, is a listed building, the main house is also an individual monument.
