A new complaint about the unacceptable behavior of an OASA bus driver has come to light, who took a young volunteer firefighter off a bus in Kifissia on his way to work early Saturday morning (19/10).
The driver’s “observation” of the volunteer firefighter
As the protagonist of the funny incident revealed, as a volunteer firefighter, he entered the bus in his uniform to go to work. Then, after tapping his card as well, he heard the driver say, “Where are you going? You can’t get inside the bus, please get down,” he allegedly told him, as he explained to SKAI.
And when the volunteer firefighter asked him for an explanation as to why he shouldn’t be inside the bus, the driver replied that his fists would damage the floor, because the vehicle – specifically the 509 – was a new vehicle in the fleet.
However, the young man told him that he is a volunteer firefighter and that he would be late on duty if he did not let him stay inside and reach his destination while also showing them his volunteer firefighter uniform, but the driver was adamant. “No, get down,” she allegedly told him, according to the complaint.
Despite this, the young man was forced to get out of the vehicle, and as soon as he got off he called OASA and reported the unthinkable incident, leaving even the employees of the Athens Urban Transport Organization (OASA) speechless.
