Oak: A painful reality for the last Djurgården – but a hope was ignited

There are many ranchers who are disappointed with a lot of things this season, of which the jumbo spot in the SHL is the most eye-catching.

That is the consequence of the results.

There is probably no clearer way to show your dissatisfaction than not going to home matches.

The hoof becomes quite desolate when it is not even half full. Some almost heartbreaking roars about “fighting” when the game stops at the blows.

## It was as Djurgårdsprofilen Christian ”Fimpen” Eklund said in the pre-talk that it is when you deserve the audience the least that you need that support the most.

But that is the reality at the moment and Djurgården must also deal with that adversity.

This was an extremely necessary match to win for Djurgården, but also for Malmö.

## Malmö Redhawks continue to spread question marks around them and the treasure-colored team is most reminiscent of a black and white thick TV with a flickering picture.

Djurgården had five straight losses. Injuries and absent players. Most goals conceded in the SHL. And only one three-pointer at home at the Court. Also sparse in the stands.

Much spoke for Malmö. Mighty Malmö with the cool squad in terms of names and merits.

But most things go wrong for Malmö. The team flew down from Luleå with 0-4 in the back and it is incredibly slow. That is probably the overall impression of the team right now.

0-3 against Djurgården is not something to hang in the so-called Christmas tree either.

The game is tough as crack. Only Johan Olofsson and Carl Persson really have the ability to speed up the attacks.

Not even the team captain Carl Söderberg could be recognized against Djurgården in terms of the offensive.

He was very self-critical after the 3-0 cod.

– The best players must produce. Including myself, he said with a sigh outside his dressing room.

## Djurgården? Well, a little hope has been kindled just in time for December 1st.

Djurgården actually played Malmö in the first period and even though 2-0 was at the top, the lead was well motivated. Two back goals by Ludvig Hedström and Rasmus Bengtsson gave the Stockholmers a nice receipt that they can score goals. It did not go at all against Örebro here last Saturday.

The three-pointer, Mantas Armalis zero, the back goals by Hedström and Bengtsson and the collective defense job led to the victory. The distance up to safe ground shrank to seven points and Malmö is currently approaching the qualifying spot with furious speed.

The Redhawks have only three points down to Timrå, which they meet on Thursday. Djurgården has seven points up to Malmö and this effort was still a break with the trend insofar as they both kept close behind – and scored three goals going forward.

Where have I heard that rhyme sung somewhere? Probably need at least a few thousand ranchers on the Court’s stands to remember that.
