The amount for the purchased phone will be paid into your account, and when you buy a new phone of the selected brand, you can also get an interesting bonus. Buybacks of old devices (not only mobile phones, but also tablets and smart watches) for the operator are provided by the chain Mobil Emergency.
Redemption is conditional on the simultaneous purchase of a new device from O2, which you can purchase either online or in a brick-and-mortar store. However, buying an old phone is done exclusively online. When you buy selected new Samsung or Honor phones from O2, you can get a bonus for the purchase (in addition to the price of the purchased phone itself) – a discount on the new phone of up to CZK 8,000. The campaign continues until the end of March with a bonus of up to CZK 2,500 when buying an old iPhone and buying a new iPhone 15. For other phones, the reward is at least CZK 500.

If your phone is too old, completely out of order, or you can’t find it on the O2 Redemption page, you can drop it off at an O2 store. Previously, the operator paid a “scrapping fee” of CZK 500, now it just takes old non-functioning phones and then has them disposed of in an ecological way in cooperation with the Rema system.
