NYU Abu Dhabi Institute Launches 15th Season: Dialogues on Environmental Conservation and Sustainable Finance

Under the title “Season of Amazement and Contemplation,” the NYU Abu Dhabi Institute launched its fifteenth season, which includes dialogues and seminars on environmental conservation efforts, with the participation of officials and experts in politics, economics, and law. As preparations for the COP28 conference accelerate, Barbara Schick, visiting professor of business, organizations and society at the university, is hosting a panel discussion on “Sustainable Finance to Address Climate Change”… while Mariette Westermann, vice chancellor of the university, moderates a dialogue between Bill Bragin, executive technical director. At the university’s Arts Center, editor Nadine Khalil, and critic and photographer Walid Shah, on “Documenting the History of Performing Arts.”
“In our fifteenth season, we explore the role of rapid changes in our environment in pushing governments to develop innovative strategies across the board,” said Maurice Pomerantz, the institute’s senior director and professor of literature.
