NEW YORK – A group is wanted in connection with an alleged anti-Semitic attack on a young man in New York City, police said.
The 25-year-old victim was walking down Empire Boulevard in Crown Heights around 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, when the group made anti-Jewish comments and struck him on the back of the neck, police said.
The man was not injured, but the NYPD Hate Crime Task Force is investigating the incident as aggravated harassment.
Photos released by the New York Police Department on Sunday showed a group of at least five people in hooded sweatshirts and face covers walking down the sidewalk. It is unclear if all five were involved in the attack.
The New York and New Jersey Anti-Defamation Squad said it is offering a reward of up to $ 10,000 for information leading to an arrest.
Anyone with information about this incident should call the NYPD Stop Crime Hotline at 1-888-57-PISTA (74782))
