NEW YORK – New York authorities are investigating a possible homophobic hate attack, in which a 29-year-old subway passenger was stabbed twice, once in the chest and once in the torso, on a train 2.

The two began to argue. Then it became physical. When the train stopped at Penn Station, the fight spread to the northbound platform, where the victim was stabbed with an unknown object, according to authorities.
He did not even realize that he had been initially stabbed. It wasn’t until he got back on the Northbound 2 train that he noticed his injuries. He went to a hospital for treatment and is expected to recover, police say. No other injuries were reported.
