NEW YORK – The New York City Police Department released footage on Tuesday of a man suspected of robbing and stabbing another man inside a Bronx cantina on Christmas Day.
The unprovoked attack occurred at approximately 6:19 am inside Zack Deli and Snacks, located at 1498 Westchester Avenue.
The unidentified attacker approached the 43-year-old male victim and searched her pockets, leading him to steal her wallet, which contained $50 in cash.
After a brief scuffle, the 43-year-old attempted to retrieve his wallet and was stabbed once in the left shoulder by the suspect.
The unidentified man fled to unknown locations and the victim was transported to Jacobi hospital in stable condition.
Individual is described as a dark-complexioned male, approximately 20-25 years old, 6’0″, 190 lbs, and last seen wearing a multi-colored (orange/black/white) hooded jacket, black jeans, white and orange sneakers, a black winter hat, a black mask and a black backpack.
