NEW YORK – New York City police are asking the public for help finding an unknown man who assaulted a 19-year-old woman in an attempted rape in Brooklyn.
The NYPD received a report that on Monday, November 28, at approximately 2 a.m., the young woman was walking home in the Lafayette Avenue area when an unknown man forced her to the ground and attempted to rape her.
The stranger escaped and the young woman was denied medical treatment.
The suspect is described by police as a man with black hair and glasses who was last seen wearing black sneakers, jeans, a brown sweater, a black jacket and wearing white headphones.
