JAKARTA, KOMPAS TV – Pangdam Jaya Maj. Gen. Dudung Abdurachman revealed that the nyekar activity or flower sowing carried out by a number of retired TNI officers at the Kalibata Heroes Cemetery in South Jakarta on Wednesday (30/9/2020) was not licensed.
In the flower sowing activity, the former was present Commander of the TNI which is also the Presidium of the Coalition for Action to Save Indonesia (WE) General (ret) Gatot Nurmantyo.
Dudung explained that initially the TNI retired officers sent a letter requesting permission to implement flower sowing and pilgrimage to the Ministry of Social Affairs.

However, the request was rejected on the grounds that DKI Jakarta still has a fairly high spread of the corona virus or Covid-19.
“We heard information that PPKN made a pilgrimage permit at the Kalibata TMP which was addressed to the Ministry of Social Affairs, but it was not permitted because of Covid-19,” said Dudung during his press conference in Jakarta on Thursday (1/10/2020).
As planned, the flower sowing and pilgrimage activities will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2020. This day was chosen because it coincided with the G30S / PKI event.
