NEW YORK – New York City will require all workers in city-run healthcare facilities and hospitals to be vaccinated or tested for COVID-19 weekly, City officials told our sister network NBC New York. This when the positivity rates increase, mainly with the delta variant.
Mayor Bill de Blasio will release details about the measure Wednesday morning, the sources said. The plan is aimed at a third of all health and hospital workers in the city who are not yet vaccinated.
