A gunman fired multiple shots last night from the platform into a New York City Subway train in Queens, injuring a teenager in the leg..
The 18-year-old victim was on a southbound A line train at the Beach 67th Street en Rockaways last night around 9:30 p.m., when the attacker, dressed entirely in black, fired from the platform, the NYPD said.
Miraculously there were no more victims. the teenager he was shot in the leg, but he continued on the train, until he got off at the next stop. He was taken to Brookdale Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
It was not immediately clear what triggered the shooting, whether the teen was the intended target or if he knew the gunman, who immediately fled the Beach 67th Street station, he reported. New York Post.

The new incident coincides with new data showing that crime in the city’s transit system increased 53% compared to last year.
