NEW YORK — Police are searching for a man they say stabbed a passenger aboard a Queens subway during rush hour Friday morning and was sent to the hospital for treatment for injuries to his face and hands. hands. The suspect has not been arrested.
It is not clear if the two men had been involved in any kind of argument before the knife attack around 8:30 am at Queensboro Plaza or if it may have been provocation.
The motive remains under investigation. Police say the suspect stabbed a passenger in his 20s in the right side of the face and right hand. He was taken to a hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.
Meanwhile, the search for the suspect continues. Police say he was last seen wearing a black and gold button down shirt and black shorts.
