NYC offers up to 10,000 jobs in ten different agencies – Telemundo New York (47)

The Recovery Budget announced by the City of New York includes the impetus of the economic recovery and for this a $ 30 million item was allocated for the hiring of personnel for different agencies and departments.

The funds – which also offer direct support to small businesses, including grants, low-interest loans and legal assistance in commercial leasing – fund the City Cleanup Corps (CCC) program, which will hire 10,000 New Yorkers this summer.

Recruitment will take place across 10 city agencies, including the Department of Parks and Recreation (Parks), the Department of Transportation (DOT), the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), and the Department of Protection Environmental (DEP).

Through CCC, workers will revitalize the city’s public spaces and neighborhoods, beautify parks and green spaces, remove graffiti, pressure wash sidewalks, design murals, and help maintain the Open Streets program.

The CCC will focus on the 33 neighborhoods of the city most affected by the pandemic.

According to Mayor Bill de Blasio, the city will pay $ 15 per hour.

More than 7,700 hires will be made in July, with a total of 10,000 expected for August.

Here you can apply for a vacancy.
