NEW YORK — An aide to New York City Mayor Eric Adams was held up at gunpoint Tuesday morning in Brooklyn, senior police and city officials said.
A member of Adams’ press team was approached around 10:30 a.m. on the corner of Sands Street y Navy Streetaccording to two NYPD sources and a City Hall official.
The suspects, two black men, allegedly stole the attendant’s cell phone and wallet. One of the men allegedly fled on a CitiBike.
