NEW YORK – In an attempt to convince more New Yorkers to get vaccinated against the coronavirus and to put an end to any doubts about vaccination, the Mayor of the Big Apple announced the launch of a multi-language and multi-media educational campaign.
Bill de De Blasio announced the launch of the educational campaign that will be seen on the internet, radio, newspapers, and television. The campaign will be multilingual so New Yorkers can trust the vaccine and know that it is not only for everyone, but it is also free.
During the announcement, the mayor presented four testimonials from health workers who have been vaccinated, feel good and have no side effects.
De Blasio stressed on Tuesday the importance of the arrival this Sunday of the first shipment of the coronavirus vaccine built by the pharmaceutical company Moderna, calling it “good news.” This vaccine is the second approved for use in this country after Pfizer.
