This Saturday Spectrum NY1 Noticias, and our sister network NY1 News, were recognized at the New York Emmy Awards.

Among the winners was Jillian Jorgensen, who won the award for the best educational school.

Kelly Mena, who won the award for the best news report: Serious Feature.

Eric Feldman won the award for best human interest reporting.

And Annika Pergament won the award for the best journalistic work.

The show, “Crossing Borders: Inside the Migrant Crisis” won best current affairs documentary, and “Rhyme & Revolution: 50 Years of Hip-Hop” won best special news.

Meanwhile, NY1 Noticias won the award: Excellence in News in Spanish.
