As we could report just under two weeks ago, Disney has now decided on a final release date for the upcoming film with forty-year-old Scarlett Johansson in the superhero lead role: Black Widow.
Originally, the Marvel movie was supposed to have its theatrical release in May last year, but has constantly been postponed due to corona cinemas. On July 9, the film will be launched simultaneously on Disney + (as a paid film, so-called “Premier Access”), as well as selected cinemas.

Today, Marvel / Disney releases a brand new, action-packed trailer:
In addition to Johannson we get to see Florence Pugh, Rachel Weisz, William Hurt, David Harbor (Stranger Things) and Ray Winstone in the lead roles.
The action in Black Widow takes place in the time between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Endgame.
