NY State Arts Council Grants Available for Artists and Arts Organizations – FY 2025 Opportunities and Guidelines

NEW YORK – Good news for artists and arts organizations in New York.

FY 2025 opportunity guidelines for $82 million in New York State Arts Council grants are now available to nonprofit arts and culture organizations and individual artists across the state.

Included in this grant opportunity is the most needed resource for New York’s strong arts and culture sector: general operating support, which provides funding for the day-to-day operations of hundreds of organizations across the state.

Opportunities also offer individual artist support, affordable practice spaces, folk arts apprenticeships, and performing arts residencies.

New York’s innovative arts and culture sector is a key part of our state, driving our vibrant tourism industry, energizing our communities, and inspiring students across the state,” said Governor Hochul. “These important funding opportunities will allow our artists and cultural organizations to continue to provide these wonderful benefits to New Yorkers and our visitors.”
