Nordwest Assekuranzmakler GmbH & Co. KG (NW Assekuranz) insures the largest photovoltaic project in Germany with 190 megawatts.
The ground-breaking ceremony for the second construction phase took place on April 14th. As a result, the “Schornhof” solar park of Anumar GmbH near Ingolstadt in Bavaria will have a total output of 190 megawatts in the future. A large part of the electricity is marketed through power purchase agreements (PPAs).
“We are pleased to be able to provide our customer Anumar with insurance support for this major project.” says Carsten Meerjans, customer advisor and longstanding EE expert at NW Assekuranz. “Thanks to our individual insurance solutions, especially for securing the PPA, and our know-how in the field of renewable energies, which is recognized throughout the market, we have once again developed a tailor-made concept for the project.” adds Meerjans.
“In view of the size of our projects and the complexity of the PPA, we are pleased to have a very reliable partner at our side in NW Assekuranz, who also gave us significant support in discussions with offtakers. Through the close partnership and expertise Both companies have once again succeeded in placing an insurance concept that fully meets the requirements of all project participants,” emphasizes Markus Brosch, Managing Director of Anumar GmbH.
