Nvidia vGPU GRID and AI Enterprise – The technology of the future today!

NVIDIA GRID is a technology that enables virtualization of graphics processing units (GPUs) to provide accelerated graphics and computing power for virtual desktops and applications. The Nvidia GRID solution offers three main applications:

vWS – Virtual Work Machine: NVIDIA vWS supports applications that require state-of-the-art technology, deep learning, and high computing power, including TensorFlow, Mxnet, Dkube, and Dask Parallel Computing solutions. It is also aimed at systems that deal with graphics-intensive tasks. By combining existing applications with a powerful NVIDIA GPU, users can virtualize applications with enhanced performance (such as SolidWorks, Autodesk, etc., 3D graphics/visual applications).

vApps – Virtual applications: NVIDIA vApps are designed for professionals using virtual applications such as VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps or RDSH, and are optimized for Terminal Server use.

vPC – Virtual Computer: NVIDIA vPC is designed for professionals who use virtual machines and applications, optimizing them for multimedia and HD video.

Nvidia AI Enterprise offers the same as GRID, but adds an application marketplace with pre-packaged and Nvidia-optimized virtual machines and Kubernetes applications. Nvidia AI Enterprise also offers pre-trained AI models along with the necessary frameworks such as NVIDIA NeMo (for running AI language models), NVIDIA TensorRT LLM, NVIDIA Riva (automatic speech recognition) and interactive TensorFlow Jupyter notebooks.
