Nvidia Unveils New App: The Ultimate Replacement for GeForce Experience with Enhanced Features and G-Sync Control

The Nvidia app, announced in February, will completely replace GeForce Experience later this year. The app combines the Control Panel, GeForce Experience and RTX Experience. The beta version is now updated with new capabilities.

Nvidia released the beta version of the app in February this year release, which combines many of the individual functions previously available through the Control Panel and GeForce Experience app. The new update brings some new features to this app, Nvidia writes in a message.

For example, users now have the option to turn G-Sync on and off, RTX HDR can be used on multiple monitors and driver recovery will be added. The app also notifies users if a video cannot be recorded through ShadowPlay due to Digital Rights Management restrictions. In addition, it has become possible to change the color of the text and the size of the text in the Heads Up Display, so that statistics, frame rates and other information are easier to read.

Nvidia will release more updates to the app in the coming months, bringing the remaining Control Panel features to the new app. The app will also be taken out of beta and become generally available later this year. The intention is that all GeForce Experience users will be migrated to the new app. That migration must be completed by the end of the year.
