NVIDIA has released its latest driver GeForce 546.29 WHQL Game Readywhich adds support for Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition, improving RTX and DLSS capabilities.
New GeForce Game Ready driver improves RTX quality, expands DLSS 3.5 support
Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition and update 2.1, which will release on December 5, will be free for everyone and will add various technological improvements. The update will also mark the release of Cyberpunk 2077 Ray Tracing: Overdrive from preview status to include Path Tracing support. Thus, Path Tracing not only breaks the preview mode, but also provides improved image quality and new features.
One such feature is the inclusion of NVIDIA’s DLSS 3.5 when ray-traced reflections are enabled. Currently DLSS 3.5 only works with RT Overdrive, but with the latest update it can be used with standard Ray Raytracing reflections, both as a preset and when setting custom game settings.
This will allow more RTX gamers to use this technology, so to sum it up, you get:
New technology improvements Improved image quality DLSS 3.5 with RT support Reflections RT: Overdrive mode exits preview state
Let’s move on to the second major update from the latest GeForce Game Ready Drivers: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone received support for full ray tracing and NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 technologies with Ray Reconstruction in pre-game lobbies. These updates will be added to the driver on December 6th and will provide additional depth of detail in the game.
