8GB and 16GB should really be just different memory…

At this stage, we know that NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 series will have 3 products, namely GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB, GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB and GeForce RTX 4060 8GB, of which GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB will be on sale on May 24.

We have confirmed that the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB will use the Ada Lovelace architecture GPU code-named AD106-350, with a 128-bit memory interface.

Along with the GeForce RTX 4060 8GB, it also maintains the 128 bit memory interface, but its GPU codename will be AD107-400.

As for the latest GeForce RTX 4060 16GB, it also has a 128-bit memory interface, but its GPU code name will be AD106-351, but because the memory size is more than 8GB, its TGP will be increased to about 165W.Although the GPU codename is different from the 8GB version, the News from VideocardzIt shows that the two products are both 4352 CUDA Cores.

In other words, GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB and 16GB are the same GPU, the difference lies in the matching memory.
