Nutanix announces the promotion of Dr Markus Pleier to Field CTO EMEA. This promotion, which comes with the strong growth of Nutanix in the EMEA region, is effective immediately.

In his new role, Markus Pleier will focus more on key Nutanix customers and partners, in order to build relationships with decision makers and gather technical feedback to better align Nutanix R&D and product strategy with the needs of Nutanix. his clients. He will also engage with marketing teams to assist Nutanix in the field at key marketing and customer events.
Markus Pleier joined Nutanix in 2016 and most recently served as Director of Systems Engineering in Germany and Austria, where he built a world-class systems engineering team in the region. He graduated in computer science from the Technical University of Munich and holds a doctorate in medicine from the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. Markus Pleier has more than 30 years of experience in the information technology industry and during this period held senior positions with renowned manufacturers.
