Nusantara Open 2023 rolling soon. This event was initiated by the Garudayaksa Football Academy and is in synergy with PSSI.
This is the second volume of the youth tournament. The 2023 Nusantara Open is scheduled to take place on 14-21 December at the Garudayaksa Football Academy Complex Cileungsi, Bogor Regency.
Apart from Garudayaksa, Nusantara Open 2023 is collaborating with PT LIB and is fully supported by the General Chair of PSSI, Erick Tohir, and Menpora Dito Ariotedjo.
Persib Bandung U-17, became the first edition of the Nusantara Open. As a result, Persib appeared against RANS Nusantara in the opening match of the second edition.
“Persib Bandung against RANS. Why Persib? Persib won last year so Persib will play against RANS for the opening,” said the Chair of the 2023 Nusantara Open Committee, Fary Djemi Francis, in a press statement.
Later, the opening ceremony will be attended directly by the supervisor of the Garudayaksa Football Academy and the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto. Erick is also reported to be attending.
“Apart from that, we also invite legends and also star national team players who will attend,” said Fary Djemi Francis.
At the 2023 Nusantara Open event, there are 16 participating teams. 11 Elite Pro Academy (EPA) Teams: Persija, Persib, PSIS, Arema FC, Bali United, Borneo FC, PSM Makassar, PSS Sleman, Persis Solo, Rans Nusantara, Bhayangkara. There are also 5 academies: PSLS Lhokseumawe, Bintang Timur Atambua, Garudayaksa FA, Malut Selection and ASIOP Apacinti.
