The Nusantara National Capital Authority (NNCA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADB Institute) to further enhance their cooperation in knowledge sharing, research, and development. The agreement will help NNCA to expand its network of cooperation and increase capacity to create a smart and sustainable capital city in Nusantara. The signing took place in Incheon, South Korea where Bambang Susantono, Chairperson of NNCA, highlighted the importance of the collaboration. The agreement involves organizing and co-sponsoring joint events, workshops, and capacity building activities. Furthermore, it encourages research on strategic issues such as building governance and institutional capacity, disaster resilience, and tackling climate change among others. The partnership also includes carrying out joint publications of academic journals, books, reports, and blogs. Under the agreement, NNCA and ADB Institute will also collaborate on arranging financing related to these activities. This collaboration marks a significant step towards achieving sustainable, inclusive, and resilient growth.
