Koothuparamp (Kannur)∙ A nursing assistant who tried to molest a young woman in a taluk hospital was arrested. Police Inspector Srihari and his team arrested Daniel (47), a nursing assistant at Koothuparamp Govt. Taluk Hospital, Kochukandam, Manathana.
He was arrested in an incident where he tried to torture a twenty-three-year-old woman who had come to dress her wound. The girl had reached the hospital on Sunday. The assault took place in the dressing room. The girl complained on the helpline number of Sakhi One Stop Centre. Then Sakhi informed the police from the One Stop Center and registered the case. Later, the accused was arrested.
The police arrested the accused at the hospital who came to work as usual on Monday. After medical examination, Daniel was produced in Koothuparam court and remanded.
