Donald Trump’s election campaign workers accidentally booked a nursery for a press conference. She’s now using it for marketing purposes.

Less than an hour before it was clear that Joe Biden would win the US presidential election, Donald Trump announced that his legal team would be holding a press conference. The venue: the Four Seasons in Philadelphia.

Not the Four Seasons Hotel

Most people took it for granted that this would be the Four Seasons Hotel. Half an hour after Trump announced that the conference would take place, he made it clear in another tweet that the conference would be held in the nursery of the same name: at 11.30 a.m. at the Four Seasons Total Landscaping – a landscaping company in an industrial area in Philadelphia.

To avoid further confusion, confirmed the Four Seasons Hotel a short time laterthat the press conference would indeed not be held on the hotel premises and that there was no connection between the hotel and the landscaping company.

Donald Trump was meanwhile playing golf

The Trump campaign wanted to challenge the election result, announced Rudy Giuliani the journalists present in the nursery. There is no evidence to support the allegation that there was electoral fraud on which Trump’s legal department claims to rely. President Trump himself was not present at the conference, he preferred to spend the hours of his being voted out on the golf course.

The event was massively overshadowed by news that Democratic candidate Joe Biden would win the election. Some reporters left the nursery before the press conference was late.

“Lawn & Order” on T-shirts and stickers

As if all of this wasn’t funny enough, Four Seasons Total Landscaping is now using the press conference for marketing purposes and sells t-shirts on Etsy and stickers with sayings like “Lawn and Order” and “Make America Rake again”.
