A nurse in a nursery in the Vazrazhdane area of the capital had a 2-year-old child with a backpack on his head.
This was reported by Nova TV, referring to the stories of parents.
The fight was witnessed by a parent who was at the nursery to submit documents for his sons.
“On June 5, around 4:40 p.m., I came to fill out applications for my sons, who are twins. Nurse Kinova was in front of me with several little girls. Suddenly I heard screams and saw how she hit the baby Niya on the head with a backpack. I made a remark to her and she started yelling at me to take our children to other crèches, that she was fed up,” the witness told Nova TV.
“I found out about the case from a phone call from the father-witness. I looked for the director and received assistance. We filed an official report with the capital municipality and child protection. This is not the first case of aggression by this nurse,” said Dimitar, the father of the beaten girl.
The nurse has already been released after an inspection by the director and the municipal administration, commented the mayor of “Vazrazhdane” Savina Savova.
