Nurse Persecutor at Siloam Hospital Palembang Arrested!

Palembang – The police arrested a man with the initials JS who abused him nurses at Siloam Hospital Palembang. JS was arrested in the Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI) area, South Sumatra.

“Yes, we have arrested the suspect of mistreatment of the nurse at Siloam Sriwijaya Hospital at the OKI,” said Head of Police Reskrim Palembang Police Commissioner Tri Wahyudi to detikcom, Friday (16/4/2021).

Police Commissioner Tri Wahyudi went directly to the field to arrest the perpetrators. However, no details have been explained regarding the chronology of the arrests.

“Yes, we are still on the road, arresting him together with the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit. He is in charge of the arrest. The same is the case with Kasat,” said Head of Pidum and Palembang Police Headquarters AKP Robert P Sihombing separately.

In the captured video received detikcom, seen the perpetrator resigned when he was arrested. The perpetrator did not move to see the police have surrounded his house.

Shortly after changing clothes, the perpetrator came out and was immediately arrested. The perpetrator is now on his way to Palembang.

Previously, the President Director of Siloam Hospital Sriwijaya Bona Fernando asked the persecutors the nurse investigated and taken firmly by the police. He submitted the legal process against the perpetrator to the police.

“Siloam Hospitals has submitted this case to the police to thoroughly investigate the incidents of violence that befell our nurses, as well as to take the perpetrators of violence against our nurses firmly in accordance with the applicable law,” said Bona in a press conference on Friday (16/4).

Bona regrets the arrogant behavior of the patient’s father mistreated her nurse. Bona said it was intolerable for the patient’s family to abuse nurses.

“Siloam Hospitals regrets the acts of violence directed at our nurses at Siloam Sriwijaya. Violence against health workers is an act that cannot be tolerated,” he said.

When met after the press conference, Bona explained the condition the nurse gradually recovering either physically or psychologically trauma.

“As a result of the persecution, Christina experienced bruises on her face and also pain in her stomach. Her condition is now good. Physically there are injuries, but traumatically, psychologically, it is gradually getting better. Just pray for her recovery,” said Bona.
