Nurse in Ulm is said to have poisoned premature babies with morphine

In an Ulm hospital, a nurse is said to have put five premature babies at risk of death by administering morphine. The police and prosecutors announced on Wednesday that she was arrested. The investigators accuse her of attempted manslaughter and dangerous bodily harm.

Accordingly, the premature babies housed in a room suffered from life-threatening breathing problems five weeks ago, but were saved by the immediate deployment of the staff. According to the current medical assessment, late effects are not to be expected.
