The Adler Mannheim were clearly defeated by the Grizzlys Wolfsburg 3: 7. This impressively brought the Lower Saxony back to third place in the table. With the same result, the Iserlohn Roosters defeated the Kölner Haie and stopped the run of the Domstädter. Iserlohn put down an outstanding second third with five goals. The Düsseldorfer EG gave up a lead in the last third in the 3: 4 against the Augsburger Panther. The Krefeld Penguins celebrated an important 4-1 victory in Bietigheim.
The Nürnberg Ice Tigers delivered precision work: Julius Karrer scored the goal for the 4-3 victory over Bremerhaven just eight seconds before the end of regular time. The Fischtown Pinguins had already led 3: 1. The Schwenninger Wild Wings had to admit defeat to the Eisbären Berlin 0: 4.
