Former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov said on Instagram (owned by Meta Platforms, the Tverskoy Court of Moscow recognized the company as extremist and banned its activities) that his cousin Umar, who, according to UFC head Dana White, no one wants to fight, will soon will receive the main fight in one of the tournaments.

Khabib Nurmagomedov posted a photo of Umar and manager Ali Abdelaziz with the comment: “We had serious talks today. Umar will be in the main event in the UFC soon.”

After the last UFC tournament, White said that it was difficult for him to find an opponent for the undefeated Umar Nurmagomedov, because the top 10 fighters did not want to risk their place in the rankings.

Umar Nurmagomedov won 16 victories in 16 fights, including four in the UFC, and takes 11th place in the ranking of bantamweight fighters.
