Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Nuno Espirito Santo has given an update on Heung-Min Son’s fitness and sadly it doesn’t sound good.
The Korean was ruled out of one of his country’s games earlier this week due to an injury problem, and on his return to North London this problem does not appear to have been alleviated.
In fact, Nuno says that Son is not so well at the moment, but he did not want to reveal the full extent of the injury and said that we will have to wait for the club’s announcement.

Nuno gave a fitness update after the international break.
“Some of our players arrived with problems. Sonny is not so good. Let’s wait for the club to make the announcement, ”said Nuno.

Worrying
This is not good news at all.
Son has been the star of the Spurs season so far, and the fact that he may be facing a period on the sidelines is concerning to everyone at the club.
Fortunately Tottenham still have Harry Kane providing the firepower at the top, but they will certainly miss the impact that Son can have; after all, he is a player who was once described as “wonderful” by Gary Lineker.
Cross your fingers, the attacker is in shape and shoots sooner rather than later.
