The government updates data on handling virus cases Corona (COVID-19) in Indonesia. Today, it was reported that there were 38,679 new cases of COVID-19 in Indonesia.
The data for the addition of Corona cases was conveyed by the Indonesian Ministry of Health, Sunday (25/7/2021). Data is updated daily with cut off every 12 noon.
With this addition, the cumulative total of COVID-19 cases found in Indonesia from March 2020 to today is 3,166,505 cases.
In addition, there were 37,640 patients who were declared cured of Corona today. The total number of Corona patients who have been declared cured to date is 2,509,318 people.
The government also said there were 1,266 Corona patients who died today. The number of COVID-19 patients in Indonesia who died as many as 83,279 people.
Today, there are 275,145 Corona suspects monitored by the government. Meanwhile, the COVID-19 specimens inspected by the government today amounted to 173,472.
The number of specimens tested today has decreased compared to yesterday. Here is the data:
21 July 2021: 153,330 specimens (33,772 cases)
22 July 2021: 294,470 specimens (49,509 cases)
23 July 2021: 274,246 specimens (49,071 cases)
24 July 2021: 262,696 specimens (45,416 cases)
25 July 2021: 173,472 specimens (38,679 cases)
The government continues to remind the public to comply with health protocols to prevent the transmission of COVID-19. The public is asked to be disciplined in wearing masks, diligently washing hands with soap, and keeping a distance.
The government also asked residents to immediately go to the Corona vaccination site to get an injection of the Corona vaccine. The vaccination process can now be carried out without the requirement of an ID card according to the domicile at the nearest Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) facility.
